Washing your laundry correctly: Which program to use?
Washing clothes means: sort, choose the washing program and select the detergent. Below, we help you to select the right program and temperature for the laundry you wish to wash.
What temperature to use?
In general, washing cycles at 30°C and 40°C are recommended. They consume half as much energy as a 60°C cycle and three times less than a 90°C cycle.
- 30°: suitable for most textiles, but especially for delicate fibers and colors.
- 40°: cotton, linen, viscose, nylon, acrylic fabrics
- 60°: ideal for sheets, bed linen and towels
- 90°: only suitable for white cotton and stained linen
Les programmes spéciaux
Light (Léger)
For silk, fine lingerie, curtains and delicate linen (dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses).
Wool (Laine)
Ideal for machine-washable woolens, this program respects the material by dosing the cadence, water flow and spin-drying.
Intensive
This is an intensive option, dedicated to very dirty laundry. The duration of the washing cycle is generally longer than a standard cycle.
